Overview
The Absima CR3.4 Eco SHERPA 1/10 is a versatile and scale-accurate crawler with impressive performance and an affordable price level. This 1/10 scale off-road vehicle is equipped with a 6-channel 2.4GHz radio system and offers full control over functions such as the 2-speed transmission and lockable front and rear axles. Thanks to portal axles, the Sherpa gains extra ground clearance and more grip on technical terrain, making it ideal for challenging trails.
The CR3.4 Eco features a powerful 550 brushed motor, a waterproof 60A crawler ESC, and a sturdy chassis with heavy-duty metal components. The oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers provide smooth suspension and stability on rough terrain. The realistic design is finished with scale accessories such as LED lighting, roof racks, and tow cables. The Eco variant offers the same robust performance as the standard CR3.4 Sherpa but at a sharper price, making it an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced crawlers.
Features
- The CR3.4eco Sherpa-style crawler is interesting for anyone looking for pure crawling or wanting to start this fascinating hobby on a limited budget.
- This vehicle is a "downgrade" of our original "CR3.4 RTR" chassis, which is probably one of the best on the market and has been since 2020!
The quality of the mounted parts is, of course, equal to that of its fully equipped brothers. The mounting points for special equipment, such as differential locks or the 2-speed gearbox, should theoretically also be available. - The vehicle comes standard with a 550 32T brushed motor with high torque and a HobbyWing 40A speed controller. You can use "jumpers" on the speed controller to determine whether the vehicle is powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery or a 2S or 3S (low profile) LiPo battery! Portal axles not only provide a greater distance from the differential housing to the ground than conventional axles but also have another positive feature. In conventional crawlers, the torque exerts so much force that the vehicle jumps over the obstacle. The design of the portal axles reduces the gear ratio at the wheels and virtually eliminates all torque shocks from the drivetrain. The total gear ratio of the final drive is more than double that of the non-portal versions for smooth operation.
- The steering damper absorbs most hard shocks, protecting the 9 kg heavy MG steering servo and the servo arm. Hardened steel drive shafts and a steering angle of 45.8° provide optimal capabilities for any terrain. Additionally, the 2.2" tires not only look stylish but also offer extremely good grip thanks to the super soft tires.
