Overview
The Hobbywing EZRun Max4 HV 1/5 Scale Sensored Brushless ESC is the most advanced high-voltage ESC on the market. Its dynamic functionality and 12S specifications meet the needs of high-current users. The Max4 HV offers a powerful continuous output of 300 A with excellent low-speed linearity and provides full sensored-mode operation when paired with a large-scale Hobbywing sensored motor.
Features
- Extremely powerful and low temperatures: the ESC's internal circuit board is integrated with copper thermal conduction sinks. These are built into highly reliable thermal systems to ensure proper thermal conditions while delivering a continuous output current of 300A.
- High reliability and durability: Max4 HV is the most durable (hardware) and advanced (software) ESC on the market. The ESC is built with the highest-quality materials available to withstand extreme weather and surface conditions. Combined with the most advanced software developed by Hobbywing engineers, Hobbywing has created a variety of overload functions to protect the ESC from damage.
- Suitable for all weather conditions on the track: the IP-67 waterproof system guarantees excellent water- and dust-proof protection. The entire power system can operate on various surfaces, including mud, sand, ice, snow, and water, without damaging the power source.
- Wireless programming/upgrading/data reading: Using the Hobbywing OTA module and smartphone (with the HOBBYWING HW Link app installed), users can program parameters and upgrade the ESC's firmware and relevant data.
- Real-time data and data logging: After connecting the OTA module (optional - not included), enable the real-time data logging function to access operating status information.
- Capacitor thermal protection: Capacitor thermal protection effectively prevents capacitors from exploding and causing irreparable damage to the ESC due to overload.
- Superior built-in BEC: The built-in BEC supports a maximum output current of up to 25 A. The output voltage is adjustable between 6 V, 7.4 V, and 8.4 V. This ensures that the ESC can support demanding high-torque servos.
- Built-in anti-spark construction: The built-in anti-spark circuit helps prevent damage to battery connectors, as well as physical injury that can be caused by powerful electrical sparks when connecting a "high-voltage" battery pack (6-12S).
- Advanced and protected electronic switch: The advanced and durable electronic switch has a longer lifespan compared with a standard switch. The dust-, dirt-, and water-resistant switch housing ensures reliability and a long service life while eliminating unwanted damage. Heavy impacts or rough surfaces do not affect the switch.
- Sensor cable interface: The MAX4 HV ESC is equipped with a patented sensor cable interface. Using Hobbywing motors is highly recommended, as their waterproof protection rating is at the highest level (IP67).
