Overview
The KAVAN PRO 3548-500 (KAV30.2024) is a 14-pole brushless outrunner motor designed for larger RC aircraft and electric gliders. The 500KV rating provides low RPM and high torque, allowing the motor to drive large propellers efficiently without a gearbox. Unlike many smaller PRO motors in this series, this model is specifically designed for a 6S LiPo power system. It delivers a maximum of 578 W for 180 seconds and weighs 173 g. KAVAN specifies the motor for gliders up to 2800 g, trainers up to 2700 g, aerobatic models up to 2300 g, and 3D models up to 1500 g. It is particularly suitable for 2800–3500 mm thermal gliders, scale models, and 3D aerobatic aircraft.
