The RGT EX86170PRO Challenger Pro comes with all the electronics required to operate the vehicle. You only need 7.4V LiPo or 11.1V LiPo batteries for the RC car and the receiver.

Overview

Since its launch in late 2022, the RGT Challenger has received widespread recognition thanks to its powerful configuration and superior performance. To further improve performance and meet market demand, RGT is now introducing a significantly upgraded version: the Challenger PRO.

This PRO version is equipped with the Hobbywing brushless FOC system (WP Fusion BLSYS for Crawler-540 SPEC-RTR), which provides strong low-speed torque, excellent linearity, and quiet operation. Thanks to its waterproof and dustproof protection, the motor performs reliably in all climates and terrains. The 7.4V/3A BEC output also provides more power for a high-voltage servo.

Weight reduction was also a key focus during development, with nylon portal axles and helical gears. The PRO retains the two-speed/DIG transmission, front- and four-wheel-drive modes, and rear winch, while adding an electrical disconnect for the rear sway bar.

All five servos feature metal gears, while the steering servo has been upgraded to a 35kg variant with steel gears and an aluminum housing. The front portal covers are now made of brass to increase unsprung weight and improve climbing performance.

The shock absorbers have also been improved, with a larger diameter and nano-titanium coating, providing smoother damping and better wheel articulation. Finally, the Challenger PRO retains the original body design, but features multi-layer paint and a matte finish for an even more realistic appearance.
