PNP
The MN Model MN-82T Rescue Vehicle comes with all the electronics needed to operate the vehicle. You only need batteries for the transmitter.
Overview
The MN Model MN-82T is a 1:12 scale RC crawler modeled after the classic Toyota Land Cruiser LC79, featuring a functional, remotely controlled crane lift as an extra feature. It is designed for off-road driving and crawling, offering a combination of realistic appearance and capable terrain performance.
This ready-to-run (RTR) vehicle is built for enthusiasts who value a realistic off-road experience over fast "bashing". While it performs admirably on trails and rocks, it is generally considered a more expensive toy or entry-level hobby RC. The "T" in MN-82T stands for the "tow truck" or "wrecker" variant, which adds a functional crane to the standard MN-82 platform.
Features
- Scale model: The MN-82T features a highly detailed, classic Toyota LC79 pickup truck body, complete with realistic finish, fender flares, side mirrors, and a snorkel. The tailgate and hood of these models are often functional, providing an even more immersive scale experience.
- Functional crane lift: The main distinguishing feature of the MN-82T is the addition of a remote-controlled crane. This enables scale rescue and recovery operations, adding a new level of interactive play.
- 2.4GHz proportional control: The included radio system uses 2.4GHz technology for a stable signal with a range of about 50 meters. The control is fully proportional, allowing precise speed and steering adjustments, crucial for maneuvering on difficult terrain.
- 280 strong magnet motor: A 280-size brushed motor provides sufficient torque at low speeds for climbing obstacles, which is more important for a crawler than top speed.
- Waterproof 17-gram servo: The 17-gram steering servo delivers enough power for responsive steering, and the waterproof housing protects it against splashes.
- Permanent four-wheel drive: The vehicle uses a 4x4 medium drive transmission to transfer power to all four wheels, ensuring strong grip on loose surfaces.
- LED lighting system: For added realism and driving in the dark, the truck is equipped with working headlights, brake lights, turn signals, and reverse lights.
- Durable chassis: Although the suspension components are plastic, the frame is metal, providing a sturdy base for the vehicle.
- Reasonable runtime: It comes with a 7.4V Li-ion battery, providing a runtime of about 45 minutes on a 1200 mAh battery. Some packages may include a second battery for longer playtime.
- Entry-level performance: With a top speed of about 6-8 km/h and a maximum climbing angle of about 45 degrees, it is designed for realistic trailing rather than high-speed performance.
- Potential for scale upgrades: Like other MN Model vehicles, the MN-82T comes with a range of aftermarket parts to improve performance and durability, including metal gears and enhanced suspension components.
