Overview
The KAVAN PRO 2830-900 (KAV30.2012) is a lightweight 14-pole brushless outrunner motor designed for small RC aircraft, including gliders, trainers, 3D and aerobatic models, and park flyers. The 900KV rating provides relatively low RPM and high torque, allowing the motor to efficiently drive larger propellers without a gearbox. The motor is suitable for 3–4S LiPo batteries, delivers a maximum of 230 W for 180 seconds, and weighs 63 g. KAVAN specifies the motor for gliders up to 850 g, trainers up to 700 g, aerobatic models up to 600 g, and 3D aircraft up to 450 g.
