Description

Overview

The EMO XX Stegosaurus is a 1/6-scale rock crawler measuring over 80 cm in length and weighing 13 kg, combining immense power with agility. With its flexible body and dynamic movements, every angle radiates the wildness of a prehistoric beast, redefining the boundaries of “large-scale climbing” and delivering an impressive presence on any terrain.

Frame: Steel Beams × Imported Nylon

  • Reinforced chassis using thick steel plates formed by a 100-ton stamping press to create a realistic frame.
  • The axles, crossmembers, and various connecting components are made from imported nylon with a special formulation, achieving a good balance between chassis strength and toughness.
  • Front and rear axle structures with reverse transmission, a maximum positive Ackermann angle of 5 degrees at full steering lock, an 8-degree steering-knuckle inclination, and a maximum caster angle of 8 degrees. This provides better tracking after the steering returns to center, resulting in more stable and easier-to-follow driving characteristics when crossing terrain at high speed.
  • Combined with an increased input-shaft angle and a special mounting-point angle, the smooth transmission effectively minimizes axle effects.
  • The axle shafts inside the axles and the output shafts at the wheel hubs are made of reinforced steel. The axle shafts have a diameter of 6 mm, while the wheel-hub output shafts have a diameter of 8 mm and are fitted with a 17 mm connector, delivering strength and impact resistance.

Axles: Lightweight Aluminum CNC × Reinforced Ball Joints

  • Suspension featuring three front links plus lateral pressure rods, and four rear links plus a sway bar. With link diameters of up to 10 mm, the components are thick and powerful. This gives the suspension excellent flexibility when twisting through turns while also providing high resistance to lateral impacts. The upper pivot of the front lateral pressure rod has been further reinforced with a steel module.
  • Shock absorbers with a large 26 mm diameter, manufactured from high-quality aluminum alloy using high-precision CNC machining. Adjustable preload and up to 40 mm of travel provide strong support for the entire vehicle while making it easy to achieve agile handling.
  • Strong ball joints made from special materials, featuring large ball-joint cups and fine steel ball-joint beads that combine rigidity and flexibility for agility and impact resistance.

Drakenhart: Dual Power × Fine Steel Internal Teeth

  • Powerful performance: The brushed RTR version is equipped with two custom 775 high-power motors operating in parallel, delivering strong power and continuous energy through dual high-voltage 880 ESCs. The large front battery compartment, measuring 160 mm × 85 mm × 55 mm, accommodates two 8000 mAh 3S batteries. The first model is available in a dual-775 RTR version (ready to play after adding power) and an ARTR version without electronics (chassis pre-installed). The brushless version will be launched soon.
  • The high-torque two-speed gearbox uses fully metal gears. The heavy-load end features integrated steel gears to ensure high strength, while the transmission end uses self-lubricating aluminum gears to reduce gear wear and extend service life.

Brain: precise control × intelligent protection

  • High-voltage servos throughout the vehicle: 5-car-grade high-voltage 70 kg high-power steering servo ×1 + high-voltage 25 kg standard servos ×3.
  • Power distribution: The 70 kg high-power steering servo is powered by an independent ESC BEC, avoiding the impact of servo power-load fluctuations on the vehicle’s precise steering and turn-signal group operation. It also features servo stall protection, which automatically reduces the power output when the servo remains stalled for an extended period, protecting it from burnout.
  • Functional servo full-travel adjustment: CROSSRC’s original front and rear differential locks and gearbox controls use servo full-travel control, intelligently protecting the servo from burning out due to an incorrect operating range.
  • Dragon Claws: Equipped with newly developed ROCK BREAKER “Rock Roar” MT tires, which use large, multi-edged vertical tread claws to firmly grip any rock face. MARSH RANGER “Marsh Roam” MT tires have also been launched, featuring a classic herringbone tread that can easily navigate muddy terrain. The vehicle comes equipped with nylon beadlock wheels that use screw nuts to clamp the tires securely, allowing you to drive freely without worrying about the tires coming loose.
  • Armor: thickened PC material with an inner car shell and an internal composite roll cage, realistic appearance details, and protection for the car body against damage. Firmly connected to the chassis by means of a four-point quick-release structure, with a realistic appearance and easy, reliable disassembly.
  • Cang Armor Carrying Mountain: The EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon has a vehicle length of 1.06 meters and a rear cargo area measuring 693 mm by 325 mm, making it easy to transport long-wheelbase 1/8-scale rock crawlers and many other models, larger than the existing mass-produced RTR rock crawlers worldwide.
  • Dragon Spine: On the third axle of the EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon, a bridge-like transmission shaft structure is used. The bridge shaft structure is extremely resistant to high torque, allowing the second and third axles to reliably transmit thousands of kilograms of force under extreme cross-axle conditions, easily crushing cliffs.
