Overview

The FMS 1042mm BAE Hawk Red Arrow 80mm EDF PNP is a high-quality, scale replica of the iconic British advanced trainer used by the RAF Red Arrows. It is widely regarded as one of the best-flying 80mm EDF jets on the market, combining agile aerobatic performance with beginner-friendly stability.

Features

Brushless power system

The 80mm EDF unit features a 12-blade rotor, and the installed 3270 Kv1930 brushless inrunner motor provides a very high thrust-to-weight ratio, allowing the Hawk to reach very high speeds. You only need to add a 6S 4000 mAh 35C LiPo battery to power this system.

Flaps for good low-speed maneuverability

Although the Hawk is fast at full throttle and in the "clean" configuration, it is quite easy to control at low speeds, with the drag from the landing gear and flaps helping to slow the aircraft down. Flaps also provide additional lift, and the landing speed is almost the same as that of a low-wing trainer aircraft.

Metal landing gear

The electrically retractable landing gear features shock-absorbing struts made from CNC-machined aluminum, allowing you to land on both grass and paved runways. The landing gear also looks highly realistic.

Detailed fuselage

Numerous details contribute to the scale appearance, including panel lines, a pilot figure, and a typical color scheme used on a solo aircraft that flew during air shows.
