JConcepts P2X - Schumacher LD3 Worlds Body w/ Wing Lightweight

Overview

An important part of the JConcepts product line, the Punisher body design began its off-road career during the 2010 racing season. Over the course of ten years, the design team and drivers pushed the limits and continually reinvented the Punisher. The P2 design arrived just in time for the 2017 IFMAR Worlds, where the team tested and confirmed its performance characteristics on the track in Xiamen, China. The ultra-competitive body underwent further changes for the 2025 IFMAR Worlds, ready to take on the track in Castle Hills, Australia.

The P2X was designed for additional rear downforce and developed in collaboration with our professional racing team for improved rear grip, greater balance, and a new ace up its sleeve for outdoor tracks. The P2X dominated the competition at Castle Hills, leaving its mark of authority by achieving TQ, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall in the 2WD class. Broc Champlin secured the victory for the JConcepts racing team with speed, race awareness, and ultimately a car that handled the conditions better than the competition.

The versatility of the P2X, providing grip when needed, stability at the right time, and a tuning aid, together with front and rear wing options available separately from JConcepts, continues to make it a dominant 2WD buggy aerodynamic package. The P2X includes the leading-edge #0197 wing, which has delivered incredible performance on Carpet | Turf | Dirt since its development. For racers seeking additional rear stability, the #0531 7" Illuzion Monster rear wing is available separately, as used at the World Championships.

The channeling concept of the P2X body begins at the front with a forward-positioned windshield that is now curved to relieve pressure on the front of the body, creating an easier-to-drive vehicle. The design continues across the cockpit and cuts deeply into the rear section, where it returns to a new and wider double winglet positioned in the horizontal plane just ahead of the rear tires. The recognizable feature that debuted in 2010, the center fin, is slightly taller on this World Championship-winning design and extends across most of the full length of the cab to the rear shocks.

The P2X's twin windows hint at the JConcepts line dating back to the original Illuzion body. The sides are heavily chamfered, a style popularized by the original #gojconcepts bodies dating back to the early 2000s. In front of the windshield, a deflector shield manages airflow at the front, aligned with the geometry of the front shock tower. This high-quality part features protective coverage and encloses the gear guard like a glove.

The championship-winning part includes two 6.5-inch Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, now a standard race component worldwide. The body features all the trim and window lines engraved into the body, plus masks for quickly covering the inside of the windows using user-generated spray techniques. The P2X photo body is merely an example of what is possible with custom paintwork and artwork (not included) around the world. The body is supplied as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight molded thicknesses.

A popular and versatile JConcepts decal sheet is included to decorate the new body according to the customer's preference, while simple instructions cover the basics for beginner or inexperienced painters. The winged bodies are carefully packaged in Groveland, Florida, inspected, and labeled by professionals for customers seeking a high-quality option.
