Overview
The KAVAN PRO 3548-900 (KAV30.2026) is a powerful 14-pole brushless outrunner motor designed for medium-sized RC aircraft, electric gliders, EPO warbirds, scale models, and aerobatic aircraft. The 900KV rating provides a good balance between speed and torque, allowing the motor to efficiently drive relatively large propellers without a gearbox. It is suitable for 3–4S LiPo batteries and delivers a maximum of 820 W for 180 seconds. Weighing 175 g, the motor is suitable for gliders up to 2600 g, trainers up to 2500 g, aerobatic models up to 2300 g, and 3D models up to 1400 g. KAVAN recommends this motor for 2000–3000 mm electric gliders, 1300–1400 mm EPO warbirds, and faster scale and aerobatic models.
