Overview
The KAVAN C2836-850 (KAV30.0228) is a powerful 14-pole brushless outrunner motor, designed for smaller recreational and sport aircraft, gliders, trainers, and 3D models. The 850KV rating provides a relatively low rotational speed and high torque, making it suitable for larger propellers without a gearbox. The motor supports 2–4S LiPo batteries and delivers a maximum of 200 W for 30 seconds on 4S LiPo. Weighing just 67 g, it is suitable for gliders up to 1050 g, trainers up to 900 g, aerobatic models up to 800 g, and 3D models up to 600 g.
