Overview

The Castle Creations Phoenix Edge HV 80 is a powerful 80A high-voltage brushless ESC for large RC helicopters and fixed-wing aircraft. The controller supports 3S–12S LiPo with a maximum input voltage of 50.4V and is specifically designed for applications such as 600-class helicopters and 1/4-scale fixed-wing models. Unlike some Phoenix Edge models, this HV version does not have a built-in BEC; the receiver must be powered by a separate BEC or receiver battery. The ESC also features data logging, telemetry, a programmable AUX cable, and extensive Castle Link programming functions.
