Authorized by Toyota, the 1/10 Land Cruiser 80 from FMS Models uses the FCX10 crawler chassis to faithfully replicate the off-road performance of the original vehicle.
To ensure durability, the body is made of PC material and equipped with mirrors and waders. Through the transparent windows, you can see a detailed driver, a refined dashboard, and a cockpit interior. The roof is equipped with a luggage rack and four off-road lights, while a climbing ladder is mounted at the rear. The vehicle comes with pre-installed headlights, front, side, and rear turn signals, reversing lights, and other lighting components. The body uses a magnetic interface to draw power from the chassis, allowing the vehicle's entire lighting system to be activated with one button on the remote control. In addition, fenders are installed to prevent mud from getting onto the body and chassis.
The entire chassis uses the common front-mid-engine layout with four-link suspension. The mid-mounted engine and transmission, as a single unit, have a lower center of gravity than similar products, resulting in a lower roll center and a reduced risk of tipping over. In addition, metal waterproof servos are positioned on the side of the battery compartment to switch between high and low speeds.
When it comes to ease of use and daily maintenance, FMS has thought of everything. The battery compartment can be tilted backward or quickly detached. The electronics are centrally located in the chassis, making maintenance, removal, or replacement easier. FMS has designed an innovative button-style quick-release structure, while the power and signal cables for the lights are perfectly integrated with the magnetic module.
