The first 4-pole motor with a built-in chip that helps the ESC identify it as a HOBBYWING motor (only when paired with XeRun XR8 series ESCs), enabling the XR8 ESC to create a power system capable of operating in “sensored” mode at all times and providing users with better performance and smoother control. Note: This motor is compatible with other ESCs, but it cannot operate in “sensored” mode at all times.
