Overview

One of the most iconic JConcepts moments took place during the 2015 IFMAR World Championships at Yatabe Arena in Tsukuba, Japan. Spencer Rivkin crossed the finish line with the specially designed Silencer body, created specifically for that event. This successful design led to the JConcepts S2 body, which quickly became a favorite among racers who demand a low, aerodynamic body that delivers speed, efficiency, and control through every corner.

The S2 is one of the most streamlined bodies in the JConcepts lineup. The design combines proven heritage from previous generations with sharper, more aggressive lines for the modern racing world. CAD engineering provides perfect symmetry, refined shapes, and innovative details never before seen in a 1/10 off-road buggy body.

Key highlights include the sidepod air inlets, which can be trimmed for cooling or left intact for additional downforce, and a center fin stabilizer that improves tracking at high speeds. Reinforced side rails increase durability and direct airflow toward the rear of the car. A recessed section on the hood provides additional airflow or cooling options, depending on the user's configuration.

The S2 fits perfectly around the RC10B84 chassis and is made from clear polycarbonate, available in standard and lightweight thicknesses. Each set includes two 6.5" Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, precision window masks, and a detailed decal sheet with logos and details.
