The RGT EX86100V2 Rock Cruiser V2 comes with all the electronics needed to operate the vehicle. You only need 7.2V NiMH or 7.4V LiPo batteries for the RC car and 4xAA for the receiver.

Overview

The RGT Rock Cruiser V2 is based on the original Rock Cruiser, but has been completely improved in terms of appearance and chassis design. The front steering mechanism uses a CVD structure, increasing the steering angle with a positive Ackermann angle.

The transmission system features a reverse drive design: a reversed gear set in the central transfer case makes the front and rear drive axles rotate in opposite directions. This reduces torque twist and improves the vehicle’s overall balance.

Compared with previous models, all V2 gears are equipped with steel teeth, providing greater durability and reliability. The new tires are wider and feature a deeper tread pattern, significantly improving climbing performance. In addition, the wheels have a realistic titanium-gold finish.

The links have been redesigned, further increasing the steering angle to improve tight-corner handling and help avoid obstacles while climbing.

The RTR version is equipped with a powerful 540 brushed motor, a Hobbywing waterproof ESC, and a 15kg metal-geared servo with a metal servo arm. Finally, the 2.4G radio system has also been updated for more reliable control.
