Overview
The KY Model Fiede (KYM0100) is a compact 1:50 scale RC model kit of a Fiede harbor tugboat, based on the Damen Stan Tug 805 series. Measuring 164 mm in length and 61 mm in width, the model combines a plastic hull and superstructure with plastic, wooden, and photo-etched metal parts for a realistic finish. The kit is designed for functional RC operation and already includes a 130-size electric motor, propeller shaft with tube, propeller, and pico servo for the rudder. For ready-to-use RC operation, only a bidirectional 3–5A brushed ESC, transmitter/receiver, and 4–5S NiMH or 1–2S LiPo battery are still required. Thanks to its miniature size, the Fiede is ideal for model builders who want to build a very small yet fully functional RC tugboat.
