JConcepts S2 - Schumacher CAT PB body with Carpet, Turf, Dirt Wing Lightweight

Overview

One of the most memorable JConcepts moments came from Spencer Rivkin during the 2015 World Championships at the Yatabe Arena in Tsukuba City, Japan. The Arizona resident crossed the finish line with the Silencer body, specially designed and manufactured for that event. The "S2" started as a special body for carpet and grass but quickly became a favorite among racers needing a flat, low-drag body that tears through corners fast and efficiently.

It's hard to find a better JConcepts body; the S2 has one of the most streamlined styles in the lineup. The design is smart, with much heritage from previous generations, but with a slightly sharper edge than its predecessors. Computer-aided design helped with symmetrical features, sharp, instinctive shapes, and characteristics never before seen on a 1:10 offroad buggy. The significant beveling, the outer profile tuned to the chassis shape, and the dual-window cockpit remain subtle for optimal performance.

The S2 body for the Schumacher Cat PB features a scoop function at the back of the sidepods, which can be trimmed by the user for better airflow or used as an object for drag and downforce. A stabilizing center fin runs just in front of the cockpit and extends over the rear and lowered section for better high-speed tracking. Additional rails on both sides of the lowered rear section provide extra durability and help guide airflow over the back.

On the hood, a typical #gojconcepts recessed zone offers an extra surface for airflow or can be trimmed by the user for internal cooling. This high-quality part features protection and fits the chassis like a glove. The championship-winning item includes two 6.5 inch Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, now a standard race item worldwide.
