Overview
When JConcepts hits the track with new items, you can feel it. The Pioneer wheels for the modern 4WD buggy class, first introduced during the Florida Carpet Championships, combine a retro-inspired look with the signature JConcepts style. Inspired by a replica of Masami Hirosaka from 1989, Jason Ruona dreamed of an iconic variant. The extendable panels provide a unique style, while the correct offset and mounting features remain intact.
Fresh outer ribs, a radial ring around the wheel nut, and four screw positions replicate vintage details from the golden age of RC. Designed for both show and go, Pioneer wheels offer a fresh look, high-quality performance, and a variety of color options. JConcepts titanium screws are sold separately in burnt blue (#5037-1) and stealth black (#5037-2), while racers can also use M3 × 6 mm screws in steel, stainless steel, or aluminum.
The wheels match the dimensions of the IFMAR World Championship-winning Mono wheels, with industry-standard offset. They are made of durable material with reinforcing ribs inside and a strong 12 mm hexagonal knob. They are available in packs of 4 in white, fluorescent yellow, retro pink, and stealth black.
