Overview

The EMO XL Bison stands out as the first mass-produced 1/8 scale six-wheel-drive high-performance simulation climbing vehicle from Cross RC. It is a large and heavy model (approximately 7.1 kg net weight) that attracts attention with a dominant appearance and a functional, easily adjustable cargo bed. The design focuses on durability and extreme off-road capabilities, featuring a very strong aluminum alloy frame and robust nylon axle housings to withstand tough conditions.

Features

• The Cross-RC 1/8 EMO platform has undergone three generations of evolution, continuously reinforced and upgraded, offering reliable and high-quality performance for the new EMO XL.
• The metal reverse gearbox, equipped with a CNC motor mount made of aerospace aluminum, effectively dissipates motor heat; the internal gears use a mix of machined and MIM-injected gears, ensuring high strength, low noise, and wear resistance.
• The entire vehicle is equipped with ABEC3 level precision bearings, ensuring quiet and smooth operation and longer maintenance intervals.
• The suspension rods are made of 7 mm diameter 304 stainless steel rods, wear-resistant and rustproof, also lowering the center of gravity; the ball heads of the suspension rods have been upgraded to larger, reinforced ball heads for higher durability and impact resistance.
• Large CNC shock absorbers with a diameter of 21 mm, featuring vacuum-plated shock absorber rods, improve shock absorption smoothness and enhance damping oil performance, providing strong support while maintaining a flexible stance; filled with 350CST shock oil and factory-installed with proper ventilation.
• Reinforced main beams for heavy loads, meeting the demands of powerful modifications and intense gameplay at high speed without quick damage.
• Robust front and rear portal axles, made from imported high-quality weather-resistant nylon, meet strength requirements for play in low temperatures.
• Second-generation rear balance coupling system, updated geometry data based on new structures, first introduced in 2022 in model building with the CROSSRC EMOX Rhinoceros, effectively improves control over roll center of gravity during high-speed maneuvers without affecting shock absorber performance, ensuring smooth operation.
• High-quality AT tires, the same as those on the EMO X3, provide a customized tire profile for explosive traction.
• Standard equipped with powerful lighting groups, including grille warning lights, with multiple modes controllable via the remote control.
• The entire vehicle features a 7.4V high-voltage circuit, a full-range servo switch mechanism, and a differential lock.
