Overview

The DUMAS PT-109 (4SP1233) is an impressive 838 mm wooden RC PT boat construction kit based on the famous PT-109, commanded by Lieutenant John F. Kennedy during World War II. The traditional wooden construction consists of die-cut plywood parts, micro-foam PVC hull planking, wooden and plastic structural components, cast-metal fittings, and numerous scale details. The kit is intended for experienced model builders and can be equipped with a simple single-motor RC drive system or an authentic scale configuration with three motors, like the original. The separate DUMAS #2362 drive/accessory set is required for the basic drive system and includes propeller shafts, couplings, propellers, and rudder components, among other parts. A unique construction kit for enthusiasts of historical military RC models.
