The R1 Rock Buggy is delivered without motor, ESC, steering servo, transmitter, and battery. These electronic components must be purchased separately to operate this car.

Overview

The Gmade R1 Rock Buggy is a shaft-driven crawler designed to replicate the look and performance of a high-performance rock buggy. The molded composite tube frame offers a realistic appearance and protects the electronics from damage during falls. Transparent lexan body panels allow customization, and power is efficiently transferred via robust universal sliding shafts to unique portal high-clearance front and rear axles. The fully sealed transmission, G-transition shock absorbers, and standard 2.2 wheels enhance off-road capabilities. The R1 is sold as a kit and allows enthusiasts to build and customize their own high-performance rock racing crawler.

Features

R1 Tube Chassis - The one-piece graphite axle housing is made of very strong plastic for maximum durability and easy maintenance. Inside, both the front and rear axles have solid differential gears to provide stronger drive force in all driving conditions. The gears are protected by a shiny metal cover for extra scale realism.

R1 Drivetrain - Portal axles simply mean that the drive shafts are located above the center of the wheels. This gives the R1 more ground clearance under the axles than other trucks with the same tires.

R1 Transmission - The perfectly sealed R1 transmission is dustproof. Full ball bearings are placed on all gear shafts. You can also precisely adjust the gear mesh clearance as the motor mounting cap can be opened and closed so you can look inside.

R1 G-Transition Shock Absorber - The G-Transition shock absorber settings can be changed to match your driving style, course, and terrain; they can be set to operate in Droop or Sprung suspension. This can significantly improve your driving performance. You can set it to drive in Droop or Sprung suspension.
