Description
Overview
The T16D is a 16-channel computer-controlled transmitter for recreational model builders, allowing basic functions such as travel percentages and directions to be set. It also offers a range of mixing settings for controlling various models, including powered aerobatic aircraft, gliders, multicopters, cars, other ground vehicles, and boats. The transmitter uses an internal RF module based on the FHSS transmission system (as used with the T8FB/T8S and the RadioLink R4GS/R6GS/R8X pistol-grip transmitters), but also supports external ELRS or TBS Crossfire long-range RF modules. The housing is practical and comfortable to hold, with a classic, proven ergonomic control layout.
Features
- Memory for 100 models, with the option to copy and rename models
- System settings (brightness, contrast and display backlight, menu language, etc.)
- Selectable gimbal modes 1–4
- Servo monitor
- Reversing of travel directions
- Setting the travel speeds (endpoints)
- Servo speed
- Free assignment of functions and controls to channels 5–16
8 freely programmable mixes with selectable progression: linear, exponential, broken curve, 9-point curve - Selectable control unit mode (up to 17 modes)
3 flight modes - Dual rates and selectable travel progression (exponential, broken curve, 9-point curve) for channels 1, 2, and 4
- Throttle curve (up to 9 points)
- Throttle settings (engine shutdown for aircraft, autorotation for helicopters)
- Butterfly-tailplane mix
- Flying-wing/delta mix
- Remote gyro gain control mix (for RadioLink receivers with a built-in gyro)
- Collective pitch curve for helicopters
- Helicopter mixes (swashplate)
- Tracked-vehicle mix
- Control of feeder boats (only with an R16F receiver and a RadioLink control unit with GPS), allowing you to set a route of up to 100 points
- Auxiliary ID: Allows you to control multiple models with receivers bound to the transmitter without having to switch model memories (for example, you can drive out with a tow truck carrying a loaded excavator; once you arrive at the construction site, flip the switch to activate the Auxiliary ID and then operate the excavator)
2 timers - Switch assignment
- Assignment of audio messages to individual switch positions (you can upload your own voice messages to the transmitter, for example to announce flight modes or the deployment of the landing gear, and assign them to individual switch positions)
- Telemetry voice output
- USB-C port for transmitter firmware updates or controlling an RC simulator on a PC (from version V1.7.1)
- Trainer connection for wired connection of 2 RadioLink transmitters
Compatible receivers: RadioLink R12F, R16F, R8FM, R8SM, R8XM, R8FGH, R8FG, R7FG, R6FG, R6F, R6FGM, R4F.
The included R16F receiver allows you to select various channel output modes (16 PWM outputs for standard servos, 15x PWM + S.BUS, 13x PWM + S.BUS + RX/TX CRSF, 14x PWM + RX/TX CRSF), with combinations of PWM outputs for standard servos, an S.BUS serial output, and CRSF input/output. This makes it easy to connect standard servos, S.BUS servos, and other devices, control units, etc.
