Overview
The Team Associated RC8T4.2 Team Kit is the latest evolution of the 1/8 nitro 4WD competition truggy, developed by the legendary Area 51 team. A refined suspension package and smart design updates make the chassis even more precisely tunable for extreme racing conditions.
The revised nitro chassis is 4 mm shorter for improved weight distribution and more brace options, and features a new molded top plate. The revised braking system, with new brake pad material and optimized springs, delivers consistent braking performance. You will need to purchase the engine, servos, wheels, tires, body and paint separately.

- 16° KPI steering knuckles with revised bump-steer geometry for predictable steering in deep ruts.
- New rear sway bar with wider mounting points.
- Large center differential with 19 mm and 20 mm HTC satellite gears.
- 131 mm driveshafts with heavy-duty 17 mm outdrives and 40/9 ring and pinion gears.
- Oil shocks can be built with bladders or as emulsion shocks (both included).
- Factory Team parts: hard-anodized aluminum shock caps and FT wheel hexes with grooved pins.
- High-downforce rear wing for traction on fast sections.
