Overview
Hobbywing has introduced the XERUN XR8 Pro G2 competition speed control for 1/8th Off Road and On Road applications. This new version brings a host of new features to make this the ultimate performance choice!
The Hobbywing XERUN SCT 3652SD G2 Sensored 5100kV Brushless Motor is a 4-pole powerhouse, great for light short track, truck and monster truck sensored applications. Because this motor uses a 5mm diameter motor shaft, it requires pinions with a 5mm bore.
ESC features
- 5 built-in general profiles, suitable for all 1/8 Racing, select and use directly. (e.g. Zero timing-Blinky mode, 1/8 Off-Road Racing, 1/8 On-
Road Racing, 1/8 GT Racing, 1/8 Sport-modus - 29 built-in adjustable parameters to set different power requirements.
- Parameters can be imported and exported, which is useful for drivers to share settings and learn from each other.
- The ESC firmware can be upgraded via the multi-function LCD programming box or OTA programmer (sold separately). You can then enjoy the latest ESC features.
- Supports 48 degrees Boost and Turbo timing in combination with a Hobbywing XERUN 1/8 (G3 4268/4274) engine.
- Multiple safety functions: low voltage protection, thermal protection of the ESC, motor and capacitor.
- Built-in switching mode BEC with an adjustable voltage output from 6 V to 8.4 V (step: 0.1 V) for use with servos and other devices requiring different voltages.
- Built-in reverse polarity protection.
- Temperature and RPM of the ESC and motor can be monitored by the HW Link (OTA Programmer - sold separately)
- Real-time data logging via the OTA Programmer. Throttle input, ESC voltage, current, temperature, RPM and other data are available in real time to monitor the operating status of the ESC and motor.
Engine features
- Made from a single piece of aluminum rod that is precision machined by CNC. There is no gap or screw on the surface of the case.
- There is a silicone dust-proof sealing ring around the sensor base. The details show originality.
- The front contains two pairs of M3 and two pairs of M4 screw holes, which can accommodate different mounting bases.
- The exhaust terminal uses a widened U-shaped gold-plated curved copper rod, which has very low internal resistance and is easier to weld.
- The R-class insulation material at 240°C, the special high-strength adhesive at 340°C and the international top brand bearing can easily cope with the fierce competition.
