Overview

Our favorite, the IFMAR World Championships, is the pinnacle of RC racing and the perfect setting for product launches and performance debuts. The legacy of the IFMAR World Championship-winning S15 design is deeply rooted in the new body and has been turned up to full speed. A great body to decorate with stickers, the performance body offers plenty of racing surface to display a range of sponsors and support. With successful designs from the Punisher, Finnisher, and Silencer lines, the JConcepts team made the decision for the Schumacher Cat PB; it was time for the S15.

Using lessons from tradition, the team focused on the placement of the single cockpit, the deflection angles, the hard edges (JConcepts beveling), and the side winglets. The single-window design differs from the usual JC team bodies but complements the S15 beautifully. The S15 performs like a champion, albeit somewhat differently from its predecessors. The body’s delicate structure allows the driver to drive smoothly, steer fluidly, and tackle tricky corners without being overly aggressive.

The new component follows the chassis shape perfectly, and the clean layout is free of unwanted openings. The centerline roof fin helps the body withstand the heavy demands of crashes and off-track excursions, while providing good straight-line grip on the track. The top of the sidepod rolls over into the rear, absorbing the force applied just ahead of the rear tires. Directly behind the cockpit is a trimmable section for venting hot air and building up the inner shell.

The rear of the body features an upswept spoiler shape that uses the rear of the body to increase downforce. As always, the body comes with window masks, decals, and two of the latest Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings for a quick transition from preparation to racing.
