JConcepts S2 - Schumacher CAT PB body w/ Carpet, Turf, Dirt Wing

Overview

One of the most memorable JConcepts moments came from Spencer Rivkin during the 2015 World Championships at Yatabe Arena in Tsukuba City, Japan. The Arizona native crossed the finish line with the Silencer body, specially designed and manufactured for that event. The "S2" began as a special body for carpet and turf, but quickly became a favorite among racers who need a low-drag, flat body that tears through corners quickly and efficiently.

It is difficult to find a better JConcepts body; the S2 has one of the most streamlined styles in the lineup. The design is clever, with plenty of heritage from previous generations, but with a slightly sharper edge than its predecessors. Computer-aided design helped create symmetrical features, sharp, instinctive shapes, and features never before seen on a 1:10 off-road buggy. The substantial beveling, outer profile matched to the shape of the chassis, and dual-window cab remain unobtrusive for optimal performance.

The S2 body for the Schumacher Cat PB features a scoop at the rear of the sidepods, which can be trimmed by the user for improved airflow or used as an object for drag and downforce. A stabilizing center fin runs just ahead of the cab and continues over the rear and lowered section for improved tracking at high speed. Additional rails on both sides of the lowered rear section provide extra durability and help direct airflow over the rear.

On the hood, a familiar #gojconcepts recessed zone provides an additional surface for airflow or can be trimmed by the user for internal cooling. This high-quality component features protective coverage and encloses the chassis like a glove. The championship-winning item includes two 6.5-inch Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, which are now a standard race item worldwide. The body includes all trim lines and window lines engraved into the body, along with masks for quickly covering the inside of the windows and applying the user's chosen painting technique.

The body is supplied as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight molded thicknesses. A popular and versatile JConcepts decal sheet is included to decorate the new body according to the customer's preference, while simple instructions cover the basics for new or inexperienced painters.
