Overview
The EMO XX Stegosaurus is a 1/6 large-scale climbing vehicle over 80 cm in length and 13 kg in weight, combining immense power and agility. With a flexible body and dynamic movements, every angle radiates the wildness of a prehistoric beast, redefining the boundaries of “large-scale climbing” and offering an impressive presence on any terrain.
Skeleton: steel beam × imported nylon
- Reinforced chassis, using thick steel plates formed by hundred-ton stamping to create a realistic beam.
- The axles, crossbars, and various connecting parts are made of imported nylon material with a special formula, achieving a good balance between chassis strength and toughness.
- Front and rear axle structure with reverse transmission, maximum steering position positive Ackerman angle of 5 degrees, steering stem inclination of 8 degrees, maximum caster wheel 8 degrees. This ensures better tracking after steering return, resulting in more stable and easier-to-follow driving characteristics during high-speed cornering.
- Combined with an increased angle of the input shaft and a special angle of the mounting point, the smooth transmission effectively minimizes axle effects.
- The half shafts in the bridge and the output shafts at the door edges are made of reinforced steel. The half shaft diameter is 6mm, the door edge output shaft diameter is 8mm equipped with a 17mm connector, strong and impact-resistant.
Tendons: lightweight aluminum CNC × reinforced ball joint
- Suspension, using three links at the front + lateral push rod, four links at the rear + balance rod, link diameter up to 10 mm, thick and powerful. This gives the suspension great flexibility when twisting the waist, while also having high lateral impact resistance. The upper pivot of the front lateral push rod is further improved with a steel module.
- Shock absorbers, 26 mm large diameter shock absorbers, made of high-quality CNC machined high-precision aluminum alloy. Adjustable preload, maximum stroke up to 40 mm, providing good support for the whole vehicle and easily showing an agile posture.
- Strong ball joints, using special material, large ball joint buckle + fine steel ball joint beads, combining stiffness and flexibility, agile and impact-resistant.
Dragon heart: Dual Power × Fine steel internal teeth
- Strong power, brushed RTR version equipped with two custom 775 powerful motors with parallel output, powerful power, continuously delivering infinite energy through dual high-voltage 880 ESC; large front battery compartment 160 mm 85 mm 55 mm accommodates dual 8000 mah 3S batteries. The first model has a dual 775 RTR version (ready to play after adding power), an ARTR version without power (chassis pre-installed). The brushless version will be launched soon.
- The two-speed gearbox with high torque uses fully metal gears, the heavy load end is equipped with integrated steel gears to ensure high strength, the transmission end uses self-lubricating aluminum gears, reducing gear wear and extending service life.
Brain: precise control × intelligent protection
- High-voltage servo for the whole vehicle, 5-car level high voltage 70KG high-power steering servo *1 + high voltage 25KG standard servo *3.
- Power distribution, 70 kg powerful steering servo driven by independent ESC BEC, avoiding the impact of servo power load on the precise control of the vehicle and blink group work. It also has a servo lock protection function, automatically reducing power output when the servo is locked for a long time, protecting the servo from burnout.
- Functional servo full-stroke adjustment, CROSSRC's original front and rear differential lock and gearbox control use servo full-stroke control, intelligently protecting the servo from burning out due to incorrect working stroke.
- Dragon Claws: Equipped with newly developed ROCK BREAKER "Rock Roar" MT tires, which use large, multi-cut vertical tire claws to firmly grip every rock wall. Also launched are MARSH RANGER "Marsh Roam" MT tires, with a classic herringbone texture, which can easily drive through muddy terrain. The original car is equipped with nylon clamping wheels, using screw nuts to clamp the tires, allowing you to drive freely without worrying about the tires coming loose.
- Armor: thickened PC material with inner car shell + internal composite roll cage, realistic appearance details and protection of the car body against damage. Closely connected to the chassis by a four-point quick coupling structure, realistic appearance and easy to disassemble, reliable.
- Cang Armor Carrying Mountain: The EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon has a vehicle length of 1.06 meters, a rear trunk space of 693 mm and 325 mm, easily transporting 1/8 scale climbing cars with long wheelbases and many models, larger than existing mass-produced RTR climbing cars in the world.
- Dragon Spine: On the third axle of the EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon, using a bridge-like transmission shaft structure. The bridge shaft structure is extremely strong and resistant to high torque, allowing the second and third axles to reliably transfer thousands of kilograms of force under extreme lateral axle conditions, easily crushing cliffs.
