The DUMAS Lackawanna (4SP1251) is a highly detailed 838 mm RC tugboat building kit based on the historic coastal tugboat Lackawanna. The combination of a vacuum-formed plastic hull and superstructure, laser-cut plywood and balsa wood parts, micro-foam PVC components, and an extensive collection of metal and scale fittings produces an impressively realistic result. The kit is designed for one electric motor and can be built as a fully operational RC tugboat or as a detailed static model. Thanks to the many pre-cut and laser-cut parts, less traditional hull planking is required, making construction more accessible without compromising on detail.
