Overview

The Komodo is a highly detailed scale R/C truck built on the durable GS01 chassis with a 4-link suspension system and a nickel-plated steel C-channel frame. It features a realistic dustproof receiver box styled like a hood and an adjustable battery tray for a low center of gravity. The skid plate in the middle smoothly slides over rough terrain, while the Gmade G-Transition shock absorbers and optimized suspension reduce torsional twisting for better handling. Power is transmitted via a dustproof metal transmission and universal shafts, with ball bearings everywhere to eliminate power loss. The MT-1903 off-road tires combined with NR02 1.9" beadlock wheels provide excellent grip on terrain. The clear 1.5mm Lexan pickup-style body of the Komodo allows custom painting and includes scale details such as bumpers, grille, mirrors, and more. It also comes with accessories like a roof rack, snorkel, sand ladder, and shovel for extra realism. This is one of Gmade's most complete and realistic scale models to date.

GS01 Chassis - The GS01 ladder frame is designed to look like the chassis of a real car and is made of high-quality steel. The C-channel side rail provides extra stability and is bolted with crossbars to help prevent twisting or warping. The steel parts are also nickel-plated for a shiny look and corrosion resistance.

GS01 Drivetrain - The one-piece graphite axle housing is made of high-quality plastic for maximum durability and easy maintenance. Inside, both the front and rear axles have solid differential gears to provide stronger drive force under all driving conditions. The 4LS version has an extra width of 10 mm to increase off-road capability. The gears are protected by a shiny detailed metal diff cover for extra scale realism.

GS01 Shock Absorbers - The XD Aeration shock absorber is an oil-filled coil-over shock with CNC-machined aluminum housings and robust 3.5 mm shock shafts for maximum wheel travel and silky smooth suspension movement. The rebound can be easily adjusted with the vent screw, and the ride height can be easily set with the adjustable threaded shock collar.

GS01 4 Link Suspension System - The 4-link suspension is designed together with the oil shocks to reduce torsional twisting and improve off-road performance on all terrains such as mud, rocks, and hills.

GS01 Adjustable Battery Plate - The GS01 battery plate is designed to offer the lowest center of gravity to the chassis for stable driving. It is also adjustable, allowing different batteries to be used while still being held firmly.
