Overview

JConcepts has raised the bar with the launch of the new Dirt-Tech closed cell inserts. The new inserts, gray in color, are designed in collaboration with tire insert guru Brian "Dirt" Kinwald to offer the ultimate touch and feel while providing maximum durability. The 2WD | The 4WD rear and 4WD front inserts have alternating shallow and deep notches on the outside that touch the tire carcass, providing a comfortable response and feel. The 2WD front insert has 3 relatively deep notches spread across the width, offering a subtle feel of the front tires for precise steering control. The inside features horizontal channels in a 360-degree pattern to absorb large shocks, create forward grip, and increase acceleration.

The JConcepts design, with specially designed details, is incorporated into the newly developed material, providing racers with a durable option suitable for use in conditions ranging from medium to extremely high traction. Tests have shown excellent results when used under these conditions and with popular tires such as 3D's, Bar Codes, and Dirt Webs. Recently, Michael Schoettler achieved a TQ and won the Spring Indoor Nationals at Tacoma R/C Raceway in the modified 2WD class using the Dirt-Tech inserts.
