Overview

A key part of the JConcepts product line, the Punisher body design began its offroad career in the 2010 racing season. Over ten years, the design team and drivers pushed the limits and reinvented the Punisher along the way. The P2 design arrived just in time for the IFMAR Worlds in 2017, where the team tested and confirmed performance features at the Xiamen circuit in China. The ultra-competitive body underwent new changes for the IFMAR Worlds of 2025, ready to enter the circuit at Castle Hills, Australia.

The P2X is designed for extra downforce at the rear and developed in collaboration with our professional race team for better rear grip, more balance, and a new trump card for outdoor tracks. The P2X dominated the competition at Castle Hills, leaving a mark of authority by achieving TQ, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall in the 2WD class. Broc Champlin secured the JConcepts race team victory with speed, race insight, and ultimately a car that handled conditions better than the competition.

The versatility of the P2X, offering grip when needed, dimensional stability at the right moment, and a tuning aid, along with front and rear wing options sold separately by JConcepts, remain a dominant 2WD buggy aero package. The P2X comes with the leading #0197 wing, which has delivered incredible performance on Carpet since its development. | Turf | Dirt. For racers wanting extra stability at the rear, the #0531 7" Illuzion monster rear spoiler is sold separately, as used in the world championships.

The ducting concept of the P2X body starts at the front with a forward-placed windshield that is now curved to relieve front pressure on the body, creating an easier-to-drive vehicle. The design continuation runs over the cockpit and digs deep into the rear section, where it returns to a new and wider double winglet placed just before the rear tires in the horizontal plane. The recognizable feature that debuted in 2010, the center fin, is slightly higher on this world championship-winning design and runs over most of the full length of the cabin to the rear shock absorbers.

The P2X's double windows hint at the JConcepts line dating back to the original Illuzion body. The sides are heavily chamfered, popularized by original #gojconcepts bodies dating back to the early 2000s. A deflector shield in front of the windshield directs airflow at the front, in line with the geometry of the front shock absorber. This premium part features protection and encloses the gear protector like a glove.

The championship-winning part includes two 6.5 inch Carpet | Turf | Dirt wings, which are now a standard race component worldwide. The body features all the trim and window lines engraved on the body, plus masks to quickly cover the inside of the windows with user-generated paint techniques. The P2X photo car is just an example of what is possible in custom paintwork and art (not included) worldwide. The body is supplied as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard and lightweight molded thicknesses.

A popular and versatile JConcepts sticker sheet is included to decorate the customer's choice of new body, while a simple instruction covers the basics for beginner or inexperienced painters.
