Description

Overview

The T16D is a 16-channel computer-controlled transmitter for recreational model builders, allowing basic functions such as throw percentages and directions to be set. In addition, it features a range of mixing settings for controlling various models, including motorized aerobatic aircraft, gliders, multicopters, cars, other ground vehicles, and boats. The transmitter operates with an internal RF module based on the FHSS transmission system (as with the T8FB/T8S of the RadioLink R4GS/R6GS/R8X pistol transmitters), but also supports external ELRS or TBS Crossfire long-range RF modules. The housing is practically designed and comfortable to hold, with a classic, proven ergonomic layout of the controls.

Features

  • Memory for 100 models with the ability to copy and rename models
  • System settings (brightness, contrast and display backlight, menu language, etc.)
  • Selectable gimbal mode 1-4
  • Servo monitor
  • Reversing of throw directions
  • Setting the speeds (endpoints) of the throws
  • Servo speed
  • Free assignment of functions and controls for channels 5-16
8 freely programmable mixes with selectable progression: linear, exponential, broken curve, 9-point curve
  • Switchable control unit mode (up to 17 modes)
    3 flight modes
  • Dual rates and selectable throw progression (exponential, broken curve, 9-point curve) for channels 1, 2, and 4
  • Throttle curve (up to 9 points)
  • Throttle setting (engine cutoff for airplanes, autorotation for helicopters)
  • Mix for V-tail surfaces
  • Mix for flying wings/deltas
  • Mix for gyro gain control remotely (for RadioLink receivers with built-in gyro)
  • Collective pitch curve for helicopters
  • Mixes for helicopters (swashplate)
  • Mix for tracked vehicles
  • Control of powered boats (only with R16F receiver and RadioLink control unit with GPS), allowing you to set a route up to 100 points
  • Auxiliary ID: Allows you to control multiple models with receivers linked to the transmitter without having to switch the model memory (for example, you can drive out with a tow truck carrying a loaded excavator; once you arrive at the construction site, you switch the toggle to activate the Auxiliary ID and now operate the excavator)
    2 timers
  • Switch assignment
  • Assignment of audio messages to individual switch positions (you can upload your own voice messages to the transmitter, for example to announce flight modes or landing gear deployment, and assign them to individual switch positions)
  • Telemetry voice output
  • USB-C port for firmware updates of the transmitter or operation of the RC simulator on a PC (from version V1.7.1)
  • Trainer connection for wired connection of 2 RadioLink transmitters

Compatible receivers: RadioLink R12F, R16F, R8FM, R8SM, R8XM, R8FGH, R8FG, R7FG, R6FG, R6F, R6FGM, R4F.
The R16F receiver included in the kit allows selection of various channel output modes (16 PWM outputs for classic servos, 15x PWM + S.BUS, 13x PWM + S.BUS + RX/TX CRSF, 14x PWM + RX/TX CRSF) with combinations of PWM outputs for classic servos, S.BUS serial output, and input/output for CRSF. This makes it easy to connect classic servos, S.BUS servos, and other devices, control units, etc.
