Overview

The Enduro Ecto Portal RTR Trail Truck is a high-performance rig designed to confidently tackle tough trails. It features new portal axles with high clearance and fully metal gears, ball bearings, and a heavy-duty internal input bearing, providing nearly an inch more clearance than standard axles. At its core is the innovative Stealth® X transmission, which allows adjustable rear-to-front gear ratios for optimized performance. The drivetrain includes 3-piece telescopic drive shafts, universal front drive shafts, and hardened steel gears for reliable power delivery. The behind-the-axle (BTA) steering improves approach angles and terrain control. Equipped with a 14-turn 5-slot brushed motor, a 2-in-1 ESC/receiver, and a 4-channel radio, the Enduro Ecto Portal RTR is ready for adventure right out of the box.

Features

Portal Axles: When it comes to rock crawling, ground clearance is crucial. That’s why the Enduro Ecto Portal RTR includes our brand-new high-clearance portal axles. With nearly an inch of extra center axle clearance compared to standard straight axles, it’s a breeze to get over tricky obstacles. To combat the massive torque inherent in portal axles, we not only used metal gears everywhere but also six screws to firmly hold the portal gearboxes in place. With so many screws, this means a stronger portal housing and less chance of gears pulling apart under heavy load.

BTA Steering and Aluminum Steering Plates: Behind-the-axle steering offers better approach angles, more clearance, and a cleaner look. Bolted aluminum steering plates provide more adjustability, rigidity, and future modifications.

Integrated Winch Mount: Mounting a winch directly to the chassis is the strongest and most reliable spot on any trail rig. Positioned next to the steering servo for overall chassis balance and weight distribution.

Threaded Aluminum Shock Absorbers: These threaded aluminum, oil-filled shock absorbers keep the vehicle stable on the course and retain oil even on the roughest terrain.

Reedy Power Crawler Motor: The Reedy Power 5-slot, 14-turn brushed crawler motor delivers ample torque with smooth power delivery. This provides slow, precise acceleration while maintaining consistent power on rough terrain and obstacles.

2-in-1 ESC/Receiver Unit: The Ecto Portal RTR is equipped with a 2-in-1 brushed electronic speed control (ESC) and receiver unit with built-in LED lighting controller.
