Description
Overview
The Futaba 4GRS is a 4-channel 2.4GHz T-FHSS digital proportional RC transmitter with a unique 2-stick layout for users who prefer a stick-style controller. It uses the bidirectional T-FHSS 2.4GHz communication system for a fast, secure response and real-time telemetry information. The 4GRS offers extensive adjustment options such as gyro mixing, throttle speed, steering response, dual rate, and more. These features make it possible to fine-tune the driving experience precisely. Thanks to these refinements, users can optimize their performance. The transmitter is versatile and professional, while also being user-friendly. This set includes the Futaba R304SB receiver, so you can get started right away.
Features
- Telemetry system: The T4GRS transmitter uses the newly developed bidirectional "T-FHSS" communication system.
- 2.4GHz SS radio communication system: Frequency channel settings are not required: channel shifting takes place automatically within the 2.4GHz band. This system minimizes interference from other 2.4GHz systems.
- Model memory for 40 models: Model names can contain up to 10 letters, numbers, and symbols, allowing logical names to be used. A model memory with different settings can be created using the model copy function.
- Menu selection: Setting screens are accessed from menu screens. The menu screen can be selected from 2 levels.
- Brake mixing for large cars (Brake): The brake mixing of the front and rear wheels of 1/5 gasoline engines and other large cars can be set independently.
- 4WS mixing for crawlers and other 4WS types (4WS): This function can be used with crawlers and other 4WS vehicles.
- Dual ESC's Mixing For Crawlers Cars (DUAL ESC): The front and rear ESCs are controlled independently.
- GYRO Mixing (GYRO MIX): The sensitivity of Futaba gyros can be adjusted from the T4GRS.
- CPS-1 Mixing (CPS MIX): The operation of LED lights and turn signals using our CPS-1 channel switch can be coordinated with steering and throttle operation.
- ANTI-SLIP braking system (TH A.B.S): This function applies the brakes so that the tires of gasoline cars, etc., do not lose traction, even when braking in corners.
- Throttle acceleration (ACCEL): Gasoline cars have a delay before the clutch and brakes engage. The throttle acceleration function reduces this delay.
- Throttle speed (SPEED): Sudden trigger operation on a slippery surface only causes the tires to spin and prevents the model from accelerating smoothly. By setting the throttle speed function, operation can be performed smoothly and easily. It also reduces battery consumption.
- Steering speed (SPEED): When you find that the steering servo is too fast, etc., the servo speed (the direction that suppresses the maximum speed) can be adjusted.
- Race timer (TIMER): The lap timer can record 100 lap times and the total time. The timer can also be started automatically by operating the trigger. The race time and audible alarm can be set. Refueling time is indicated by an audible alarm. There is also a start-up timer.
- Digital trim: The current trim position is displayed on the LCD screen. The operating step size can also be adjusted.
- Function switch (SWITCH)/Dial function (TRIM DIAL): Functions are assigned to 2 switches and dials (digital trim, digital dial). The step size and operating direction can also be adjusted. Trim position adjustment each time a model is recalled is not necessary because all dials are digital.
- ESC-Link function (MC-LINK): This special function allows you to configure the Link software so that your T4GRS can control variable frequency and other data changes in Futaba speed controllers (ESCs): MC950CR, MC850C, MC851C, MC602C, MC402CR, etc.
- Tension adjustment: The tension of the stick and throttle lever springs can be adjusted from the inside.
- Mechanical ATL adjustment: Perform this adjustment when you want to reduce the total travel of the forward (up) or brake (down) side of the throttle lever.
- Display switch: The display switch allows you to set functions without transmitting.
