Overview

The RC8B4.2 is the latest evolution of the legendary RC8 platform from the Area 51 labs of Associated Electrics, based directly on the developments that helped Davide Ongaro win three consecutive world championships (2018, 2022, and 2024).

This standard Team Kit was developed with American factory drivers Spencer Rivkin and Brandon Rose for demanding tracks with loose surfaces, deep holes, and large bumps. With the new -4 mm chassis in FWB configuration and 19 mm HTC differential gears, it delivers maximum traction and forgiving handling. The engine, electronics, wheels, tires, and paint must be purchased separately.

  • Factory Team shock bushings made of hard-anodized aluminum included as standard.
  • Soft Blend suspension arms for optimal flex and mechanical grip, and 8° KPI steering knuckles.
  • 44/13 ring and pinion gears and 92 mm CVDs with 17 mm outdrives.
