Overview
The Castle Creations Sidewinder 3 Waterproof Combo combines the popular Sidewinder 3 ESC with a powerful 1406-6900KV sensored brushless motor. This combination is specifically designed for 1/10 on-road cars running on 2S LiPo and lighter stadium trucks and buggies with conservative gearing. Although the motor is sensored, the Sidewinder 3 ESC cannot use the sensor cable; the combination therefore operates as a sensorless system. The sensored motor does offer advantages such as a rebuildable design and replaceable motor wires.
