Overview

The Amewi LAMA helicopter is a scale model of the famous SA-315 Lama helicopter from the French manufacturer Aérospatiale. With its characteristic lattice-tube construction, this lightweight multipurpose helicopter was specially designed for use in high-altitude, hot environments and held the absolute altitude record for many years. Several Lama helicopters are still in service today, especially in Switzerland.

In the new V2 version, this 4-channel single-rotor helicopter impresses with its state-of-the-art technology combined with the new auto-start/landing system, which can be activated at the press of a button on the transmitter. It is inherently very stable in the air, making flying especially interesting for beginners. Thanks to its powerful motor and unique, special design, the LAMA can also be flown outdoors without any problems in light wind. The four channels enable the pilot to perform good, precise and beautiful flight maneuvers. The precise servo control of the swashplate and the model's various flight phases also enable faster forward flight. The latest-generation 2.4GHz radio technology enables a range of up to 100 meters outdoors.
