Overview

Advanced technology meets stunning scale looks—this little crawler has everything it needs to compete in the supercrawler class. The AMXRock AM18 Kratos features a whole range of high-performance features in the style of a true top-class climber: a full hill brake, a sensitive 3-in-1 controller with JR servo connection, extra-soft tires with a highly effective tread pattern for the best grip even on smooth surfaces, locked differentials, front and rear LED lighting, dampers with plenty of suspension travel for extreme chassis articulation, a protected main gear with a 104:1 reduction ratio, and a powerful 050/55T motor for high torque. In addition, the 1:18 scale model is fully waterproof and supplied as a ready-to-run RTR vehicle. Only the transmitter batteries (4x 1.5V AAA Micro) are not included.
As a special feature, the controller comes with two additional outputs as standard, for connecting, for example, roof lights or an FPV camera. The cables are already fitted with a micro JST connector and installed ready for connection. A full-size spare wheel, a body-mounted snorkel, and many other scale details further emphasize the vehicle’s rugged character. The included 2S 7.4V 600mAh LiPo battery provides long driving times of up to 15 minutes. This commercially available battery is replaceable and features a Molex connector and XH balancer. Another innovative feature is the quick-release hood, which does not require any annoying body clips: the body is secured at the rear by the hinge and attached to the front of the hood with a sliding mechanism. Once unlocked, the entire hood can be folded back. This means all components are easily accessible, and replacing the battery can be done in a matter of seconds.
