The AMXRock Caballo Crawler is supplied fully ready to run; all you need are batteries for the transmitter and the truck.

Overview

Based on the popular CT10 Crosstrail chassis, we present another crawler highlight: our 1:10-scale Caballo, reminiscent of a current SUV. Additional optimizations have been made to the controls: for example, the cable winch can now be operated sensitively in both directions via the transmitter. Another new feature is the switchable light module, which can be turned on and off using a button on the remote control.

For a slightly faster driving style, we replaced the 45T crawler motor with a 35T motor to increase the maximum speed in second gear without compromising crawling ability. The motor is still controlled by the popular Hobbywing WP-1060 brushed controller with Mountainbreak, which allows for extremely sensitive control.

The remote control has not only been visually redesigned, but also features new functions. We have integrated the cable winch beneath the body so that the model’s appearance is not compromised.

With specially developed shock absorbers, the crawler glides effortlessly over any obstacle—whether rocky terrain, bumpy trails, or sand dunes. The portal axles with metal gears and CVD driveshafts provide greater ground clearance, while the 2-speed gearbox and individual differential locks ensure optimal climbing performance. The sealed receiver box protects against water and dirt, allowing you to drive your Caballo through puddles and mud just as carefree.

Available as an ARTR (Almost-Ready-to-Run) version, the vehicle comes with a modern 2.4 GHz, 6-channel remote control. The large battery compartment allows you to use 6000–7000 mAh batteries to customize your off-road experience to your preference. You can choose between Ni-MH or Li-Po batteries, with the setting made on the controller by changing a jumper (small black external plug).
