Overview

The EMO XXL Stegosaurus is a 1/6-scale crawler measuring over 80 cm in length and weighing 13 kg, combining immense power with agility. With a flexible body and dynamic movements, every angle radiates the wildness of a prehistoric beast, redefining the boundaries of “large-scale climbing” and delivering an impressive presence on any terrain.

Skeleton: Steel frame × Imported nylon

  • Reinforced chassis, using thick steel plates formed by one-hundred-ton stamping to create a realistic frame.
  • The axles, crossmembers, and various connecting components are made of imported nylon with a special formula, achieving a good balance between chassis strength and toughness.
  • Front and rear axle structures with reverse transmission, a maximum steering-position positive Ackermann angle of 5 degrees, an 8-degree steering-knuckle inclination, and a maximum caster angle of 8 degrees. This provides better tracking after the steering returns to center, resulting in more stable and easier-to-follow driving characteristics when traversing at high speed.
  • Combined with an increased input-shaft angle and a special mounting-point angle, the smooth transmission effectively minimizes axle windup.
  • The axle shafts inside the axles and the output shafts at the wheel ends are made of reinforced steel. The axle shafts have a diameter of 6 mm, while the wheel-end output shafts have a diameter of 8 mm and are fitted with 17 mm connectors, making them strong and impact-resistant.

Drive shafts: Lightweight aluminum CNC × reinforced ball joints

  • Suspension using three front links plus lateral pressure rods, and four rear links plus a sway bar, with link diameters of up to 10 mm—thick and powerful. This gives the suspension excellent flexibility when twisting through turns, along with high lateral impact resistance. The upper pivot point of the front lateral pressure rod has been further reinforced with a steel module.
  • Shock absorbers with a large 26 mm diameter, precision-machined from high-quality aluminum alloy using CNC processing. Adjustable preload and a maximum stroke of 40 mm provide excellent support for the entire vehicle while allowing it to maintain an agile stance.
  • Strong ball joints, made with special materials: large ball-joint cups paired with fine steel ball-joint beads, combining rigidity and flexibility for agility and impact resistance.

Drakenhart: Dual Power × Fine Steel Internal Teeth

  • Powerful performance: The brushed RTR version is equipped with two custom 775 high-power motors with parallel output, delivering powerful performance and a continuous supply of limitless energy through dual high-voltage 880 ESCs. The large front battery compartment, measuring 160 mm × 85 mm × 55 mm, accommodates two 8000 mAh 3S batteries. The first model comes in a dual-775 RTR version (ready to play after adding power) and a power-free ARTR version (chassis pre-installed). The brushless version will be launched soon.
  • The high-torque two-speed transmission uses all-metal gears. The heavy-load end features integrated steel gears to ensure high strength, while the transmission end uses self-lubricating aluminum gears, reducing gear wear and extending service life.

Brains: precise control × intelligent protection

  • High-voltage servos throughout the vehicle: one 70 kg high-power, 5-car-class high-voltage steering servo + three 25 kg standard high-voltage servos.
  • Power distribution: The 70 kg high-power steering servo is powered by an independent ESC BEC, avoiding the impact of servo power-load fluctuations on precise vehicle steering and turn-signal group operation. It also features servo-stall protection, automatically reducing power output when the servo remains stalled for an extended period, protecting it from burning out.
  • Functional servo full-travel adjustment: CROSSRC's original front and rear differential locks and transmission controls use full servo travel control, intelligently protecting the servos from burning out due to incorrect operating travel.
  • Dragon Claws: Equipped with newly developed ROCK BREAKER “Rock Roar” MT tires, which use large, multi-edged vertical tread claws to firmly grip any rock face. MARSH RANGER “Marsh Roam” MT tires have also been launched, featuring a classic herringbone tread that makes it easy to drive through muddy terrain. The original vehicle is equipped with nylon beadlock wheels that use screw nuts to secure the tires, allowing you to drive freely without worrying about the tires coming loose.
  • Armor: Durable PC material with an inner car shell and an internal composite roll cage, realistic exterior details, and protection for the car body against damage. Firmly connected to the chassis by a four-point quick-release structure, it features a realistic appearance and is easy and reliable to disassemble.
  • Cang Armor Carrying Mountain: The EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon has an overall vehicle length of 1.06 meters, with a rear cargo area measuring 693 mm by 325 mm, making it easy to transport long-wheelbase 1/8-scale rock crawlers and many other models—larger than the existing mass-produced RTR rock crawlers worldwide.
  • Dragon Spine: On the third axle of the EMO XXL 6x6 Thunder Dragon, using a bridge-style transmission axle structure. The bridge axle structure is extremely strong and resistant to high torque, reliably enabling the second and third axles to transfer thousands of kilograms of force under extreme cross-axle conditions, easily crushing cliffs.
