The RGT EX86170PRO Challenger Pro comes with all the electronics needed to operate the vehicle. You only need 7.4V LiPo or 11.1V LiPo batteries for the RC car and for the receiver.

Overview

Since its launch at the end of 2022, the RGT Challenger has received much recognition due to its powerful configuration and superior performance. To further improve performance and meet market demand, RGT now introduces a significantly upgraded version: the Challenger PRO.

This PRO version is equipped with the Hobbywing brushless FOC system (WP Fusion BLSYS for Crawler-540 SPEC-RTR), which provides strong torque at low speeds, excellent linearity, and quiet operation. Thanks to the waterproof and dustproof protection, the motor performs reliably in all climates and terrains. The BEC output of 7.4V/3A also delivers more power for a high-voltage servo.

Weight reduction was also considered during development, with nylon portal axles and spiral gears. The PRO retains the two-speed/DIG transmission, the front and four-wheel drive modes, and the rear winch, but adds an electric disengagement of the rear stabilizer bar.

All five servos are equipped with metal gears, while the steering servo has been upgraded to a 35kg variant with steel gears and aluminum housing. The front portal covers are now made of brass to increase unsprung weight and improve climbing performance.

The shock absorbers are also improved, with a larger diameter and a nano-titanium coating, providing smoother damping and better wheel articulation. Finally, the Challenger PRO retains the original body design but with multi-layer paint and matte finish for an even more realistic appearance.
